The School of Engineering
at Monash University Sunway Campus commenced operation in July 1998, and has subsequently grown rapidly with currently more than
750 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The School offers the 4-year Bachelor of Engineering degree in 4 branches: Chemical Engineering, Electrical & Computer
Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering. These branches are a subset of a larger number
of undergraduate Engineering courses offered in Australia, but are branches of Engineering where there is very strong demand
for capable graduates in Malaysia, and in the Asian region and beyond.
The School offers two postgraduate research degrees; the Master of Engineering Science (MEngSc), and the Doctor of
Philosophy (PhD).
The courses offered are approved for delivery by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, and are accredited as appropriate
by the Malaysian Engineering Accreditation Council, and Engineers Australia.
