Engineering Research Seminar Series 40, 2011: Rotation Operators in Trajectory Shaping of Unmanned Aerial Systems

Dr Madhavan Shanmugavel, School of Engineering, Monash University Sunway Campus

Date: 2011-11-10
Time: 15:30 to 16:30
Venue: Tutorial Room 6-4-01

Rotation operators play a crucial role in Aerospace, Robotic, and recently biological applications. A simple rotation operator can be represented by a complex number. As the dimension of the system increases, the size of the these operators are also increasing. In this seminar, the role of the rotation operators are presented in trajectory shaping of unmanned aerial systems.
