Dr Andrew Price will present an overview of the use of FPGAs at Monash Clayton and the development of ideas towards different types of computer architecture other than stored program architectures. Dr Price will present his work in context of learning at an undergraduate level and the development of research projects in particular use of a Data Flow Architecture to control an Autonomous Air Vehicle. He will also discuss his work on localization.

About the Speaker

Dr Price is an academic at the Clayton Campus Monash. He has a PhD (Robotics) BEng. Computer Systems (RMIT) as well as all trade qualifications for Electrical in Australia.

He has over 20 years experience working with microprocessor systems and FPGA's
