Virtual Interface Technology Adaptation Lab (VITAL)

Virtual Interface Technology Adaptation Lab (VITAL) allows academics to identify practical 'real world' problems arising from key industries in Malaysia, and solve them through virtual technologies. These experiences can be used to enhance the learning of students through various units. At the moment, the Schools of Engineering and Information Technology are utilizing some of the VITAL tools on a small scale, namely virtual instrumentation tools, emulators and simulators. The aim of this strength is to expand this effect to a wider audience through a wider range of teaching/research units.

Mission Statement

To introduce virtual interfacing technology concepts such that students are able to learn easily and to develop a software environment that allows real-time collaboration of students from different sites in a virtual interfacing technology.
